A serviced safari is a mobile safari – the 7 night Kalahari Migration safari will run for Private Departure Groups only with a minimum of 4 guests for the 2024 Green season.

You have your own safari vehicle and professional guide and a backup team of driver, cook and camp assistant who drive in a separate vehicle.

The Kalahari Migration Safari is a 7 night combination serviced mobile safari including a night at Tau Pan Camp for your first night.

What you will do on safari

Your first night is in Tau Pan Camp with a light aircraft transfer into camp.  Your guide will meet you upon landing at Tau Pan.  Spend the afternoon exploring the area on game drive and a nature walk the following morning before departing camp.

We will then camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for 3 nights and finally explore the Makgadikgadi Pans for 3 nights camping in a private campsite. 

A helicopter scenic flight is included in this safari in search of the Zebra migration.

Safari camp life

On safari, the camp staff attend to your comfort by erecting and dismantling the camp and preparing delicious meals cooked on an open fire.

A serviced safari has walk in ensuite meru style tents complete with your own bucket shower and bush loo, staff who prepare delicious meals throughout your safari and a camp assistant to take care of all camp duties.
