In 2009, we founded Okavango Expeditions, bringing with us over 30 years of safari experience and an enduring passion for the wilderness. From the beginning, we understood that the essence of an unforgettable safari lies in the timeless basics: an outstanding guide, a comfortable bed, delicious food, and breathtaking locations.

Our mobile safaris weave these elements together, offering guests the most authentic reflection of Africa—raw, unfiltered, and deeply moving.

As word spread and demand grew, so too did our vision. We expanded our team, our fleet, and our safari offerings, and today we proudly operate a range of itineraries focused on pure serviced mobile safaris.
