This is especially true on safari, where you spend many hours together in the bush. That’s why we choose our guides with great care, assembling a team we believe is second to none.
While all our guides are exceptional all-rounders, each brings their own unique expertise, ensuring your safari is not only seamless but also deeply memorable.

Why this job?
I grew up in a rural area where you see animals on your door step daily.
My grand father was a traditional doctor was the main drive behind my passion as he used to take us while doing some of the daily activities.
Bush moment
I was on safari at Linyanti and we were watching a herd of buffalo when we heard a lion roar. We quickly abandoned the buffalo sighting and went towards to area where we heard the lion.
The pride male was fighting against three intruders of which he won the fight single handedly. We watched the fight for over an hour! I will never forget this sighting, a real life time experience!

Isaac Tapa
Why this job?
I was born and raised in the eastern part of Botswana. Later in life I decided to relocate to Maun where I discovered a mouthwatering place which is home to the tourism industry and decided to unpack my bag and settle there. I then fueled my passion by studying guiding at Career Dreams in 2006 and after graduating I joined the tourism industry which still to this day is not just a job but rather a career, a passion for me. I love it because I meet different people from around the globe and interact with them whilst experiencing nature’s diversity… and the tranquility out there in the bush on safari never disappoints.
Bush moment
My favourite bush moment is to sit around the fire watching uncountable billions of stars and sharing my stories of my time in the bush with my guests.

Why this job?
Guiding is the best job I could have dreamt of, it completely fulfills me. I will always guide as its dear to my heart and I have always dreamt of a job where every day is different.
Bush moment
We were at Xini Lagoon on a morning game drive. We came across a Kori Bustard walking proudly across the lagoon. Suddenly she lay down and became invisible in the tall grass which was peculiar and curious behaviour. A few seconds later a large raptor flew over her and continued to look for her. The scene was magical. The raptor landed in a tall tree exposing its long talons as it landed certain that food was within reach. The yellow ring of its eyes, its brown neck and head and mottled white belly left us in no doubt that it was a Martial Eagle, one of the most powerful raptors in this area.
